Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Willow Property Management and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be order picking and packing. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving rent collection with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
