Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Austin, TX)

Bright Orchard Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Austin working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people based in Austin. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Handle work involving accessibility audits with care and follow safety rules. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
