Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Austin, TX)

Bluepeak Umber Foods Partners is a Austin food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Handle work involving cold storage with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
