Warehouse Associate - order picking and packing (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Iron Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Anchorage plant. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on order picking and packing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Handle work involving customer orders with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
