Warehouse Associate - inventory accuracy (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Kestrel Press and adding a Warehouse Associate whose main responsibility will be inventory accuracy. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Handle work involving customer orders with care and follow safety rules. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. What we are looking for • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
