Warehouse Associate - inventory accuracy (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Des Moines. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on inventory accuracy. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. • Handle work involving customer tracking with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. What we are looking for • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
