Warehouse Associate - cycle counts (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Ashton Freight is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The job centres on cycle counts for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Handle work involving dock schedules with care and follow safety rules. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Attention to detail and steady pace. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. Nice to have • Forklift certification. • Experience with a handheld scanner. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
