Warehouse Associate - cycle counts (Boston, MA)

Fernwood Granite Markets Group is a Boston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to take on cycle counts. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Handle work involving store inventory with care and follow safety rules. • Load and unload trucks safely. • Receive deliveries and check them against paperwork. • Count stock, report shortages and keep aisles clear. • Pick, pack and label orders accurately from a pick list. What we are looking for • Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to follow safety procedures. • Attention to detail and steady pace. Nice to have • Experience with a handheld scanner. • Forklift certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
