UX Designer - research and testing (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Meadow Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
