UX Designer - research and testing (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Vale Financial serves customers across Virginia Beach with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
