UX Designer - research and testing (Virginia Beach, VA)

Harborlight Juniper Banking Services Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
