UX Designer - research and testing (Tucson, AZ)

Bright Pike Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Tucson. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
