UX Designer - research and testing (Toledo, OH)

Nova Orchard Banking Services is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
