UX Designer - research and testing (Toledo, OH)

Rivermark Vista Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
