UX Designer - research and testing (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Redstone Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
