UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

Nova Rook Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Tampa, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in customer onboarding. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
