UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

Bluepeak Meadow Community Partners is a Tampa charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
