UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

Harborlight Union Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Tampa. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
