UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Pike Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
