UX Designer - research and testing (Tampa, FL)

Cedar North Insurance is an insurance company in Tampa with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 359 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
