UX Designer - research and testing (St. Louis, MO)

Silverline Kestrel Markets serves neighbourhoods around St. Louis with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
