UX Designer - research and testing (Spokane, WA)

Nova Lakeside Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 914 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
