UX Designer - research and testing (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Willow Insurance Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims.
