UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Clear Banking Services is a regional lender in San Diego with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
