UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

Highbridge North Medical is a San Diego company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
