UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

Nova Corner Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
