UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Corner Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
