UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Cobalt Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
