UX Designer - research and testing (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Iron Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
