UX Designer - research and testing (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Cedar Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
