UX Designer - research and testing (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Pike Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
