UX Designer - research and testing (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Bright Press produces print and digital publications in Salt Lake City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
