UX Designer - research and testing (Richmond, VA)

Ironwood Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Richmond, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
