UX Designer - research and testing (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Maple Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
