UX Designer - research and testing (Reno, NV)

Redstone Summit Medical is a Reno company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Reno. What you will do • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
