UX Designer - research and testing (Reno, NV)

Redstone Granite Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
