UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Thistle Medical Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
