UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bluepeak Thistle Press is a printer and publisher in Dallas serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in proofing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
