UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Junction Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
