UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Vale Financial Partners is a financial-services company in New Orleans. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in payment disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
