UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Rook Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
