UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Cross Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 779 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
