UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Foxglove Rook Markets serves neighbourhoods around St. Louis with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
