UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Redstone Oak Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around San Antonio, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
