UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Wilder Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Madison area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
