UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Clearpath Ridge Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Boston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
