UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Highbridge Timber Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Oakland, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 651 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
