UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Kestrel Markets is a Kansas City retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
