UX Designer - research and testing (remote)
Bright Cobalt Early Learning · Remote · part time
We are growing our team at Bright Cobalt Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing.
You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management.
What you will do
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
• Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
What we are looking for
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
Nice to have
• Experience running usability tests.
• Background in meal programmes.
Working arrangement
• Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days.
• Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Dallas.
• We reply to every applicant.
