UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Meadow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Toledo supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
